After their self-titled debut in 2022, Bad Star returns with "Tornada," the new chapter in a journey that traverses dub, urban trance, and the hypnotic echo of broken dances.
Created by Pedro Alves Sousa, the quintet—now with Bruna de Moura, Bruno Silva, Simão Simões, and Gabriel Ferrandini—constructs a ritual in motion: processed saxophones, slow-burning electronics, and pulsations that inhabit the space between the body and delirium.
With a release scheduled for November by Discrepant, "Tornada" is a spiral of sound and matter, where Miguel Abras' bass still resonates and Elvin Brandhi's voice evokes new specters.
